Welcome to Dr Mangala wani – Lactation Consultant & Gynaecologist, at Hirkani Gynaecology & breastfeeding medicine clinic,Pune, India.
Dr Mangala Wani is one of the first International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in India and Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in private practice.She has more than 30 years of experience and helped thousands of mothers and babies overcome breastfeeding problems and continue to breastfeed.
She is very passionate breastfeeding specialist, also a national trainer for Infant Nutrition,a speaker and course director for IBCLC training.Hirkani Clinic at Pune ,is the first lactation clinic by IBCLC in India.She came back to India after 20 years, being in Ireland, UK and UAE…only with the mission to increase successful breastfeeding rates in India.
Dr Mangala Wani is available to help with all things breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is a wonderful way for a mother and baby to bond as it helps baby in the most natural way to grow healthily. However, it is not always as easy and natural as one may think. There may be obstacles such as pain due to incorrect latching or baby refusing to latch, which brings about a lot of stress for first-time mothers, instead of the joy that they were yearning for. She wishes to help and empower you on your breastfeeding journey to fully enjoy your baby and strive to share evidence-based information in a non judgmental manner.
