Breastfeeding classes are family oriented.  We encourage you to bring your family member with you.

Why should I sign up for a class?

These classes are taught by Dr Mangala Wani who has over 30 years of experience in teaching breastfeeding programs. All courses contain the most current evidence and provide practical advice to fit your lifestyle. We currently offer a Prenatal Breastfeeding Class and a Working Momma Class. Our menu of classes will be expanding to meet your needs.

Why is a prenatal class important?

Taking a prenatal classes is the best way to be prepared for your breastfeeding experience in the hospital. Although breastfeeding is natural, it doesn’t always come naturally.  Having the most current tips and techniques will help you to reach your breastfeeding goals.

When should I take my class?

It is recommended that you take this class when you are 20-34 weeks pregnant.

Can someone attend the class with me?

Yes!  We strongly encourage that you attend class with one other person.  That can be your si partner, mother, or other support person of your choice.

Working Momma Class

The working momma’s class is designed to be prepared the working woman, for her return to the workforce without compromising the milk supply and continue breastfeeding

Why is this class important?

Many mothers unfortunately end breastfeeding earlier than planned when returning back to work. Having the tools for success prior to returning will help breastfeeding mothers reach their goals.

  • Building a milk supply
  • Breastfeeding and the law
  • Techniques for building and mainting a milk supply with a breast pump
  • Storage of expressed milk

When should I take this class?

It is recommended that you take this class at least 1 month prior to your return to work
